My Mom is very accomplished in social interaction. As a kid, I was shy and would want to retire when I saw new people around me. However, my Mom always asked me to step up and meet with as many people as I could. I thank her every day for this gift because I grew up to be a confident woman in social situations. I also developed an innate sense of self-confidence that stands me in good stead in most situations in life. Thanks, Mom, for your invaluable lessons! I'm lucky to have you as my mother.
